A small boutique for women the high street stopped dressing

Penshurst Boutique is not a design house and we don't pretend to be one. We choose. Every piece in this shop has been picked by hand against three rules, and anything that fails one of them doesn't make it in.

It has to be comfortable without looking like comfort wear. Elastic waists that don't announce themselves. Fabric that moves. Nothing that needs holding in.

The sizing has to be honest. We stock UK 8 through UK 24 and every product page carries a real measurement chart in centimetres, not a vague S-M-L. If you are between two sizes, we tell you to take the larger one.

It has to survive a wash. If it looks tired after three wears it isn't worth your money, however good the photograph is.

How we keep the prices where they are

We're a small operation and we work directly with the workshops that make these pieces, which is why a dress here costs what it costs. It's also why delivery takes a little longer than a department store: your order is dispatched from our supplier's warehouse and usually reaches you within 7 to 12 working days. We'd rather tell you that up front than surprise you after you've paid.
